Koi and Pond Supplies Wanted (ongoing 2010)

Sharon and I have a new pond to be viewed by the club in June of this year. We are in the vineyard business and would love to trade new red wine vines (85 different types or clones) or wine, (we make a little to give to friends) for a few Koi. We also have about 100 large and various Goldfish, some are very large, to give to good homes.

We are also open to barter for any unused pond equipment you might of replaced or upgraded, as we love to build and expand our hobby.

Got baby Koi?

Maybe some koi in your pond spawned and you have a bunch of rogue babies you didn't want. Don't know what to do with them? Member Kelly Callison relayed that she took her babies to Capitol Aquarium on 28th and T St. and they took the babies to sell and gave her store credit in exchange. This is probably a more simple and surefire way of finding a home for the low quality babies of your accidental breeding efforts (no offense!) than soliciting other club members.
